Lutherans – a Reforming Movement
In 1517, when Martin Luther posted his 95 theses for debate, his intention was to correct church practices and teachings not in accordance with the Bible. Luther desired not to create a new church but to instigate a movement within the existing church to reform it – to bring traditions and teachings into agreement with Scripture.
