We have watched with wonder and growing anticipation the construction of our new facility. From the chilly groundbreaking last December through the snowy winter, we have seen the fountain disappear, the ground being excavated, and this beautiful tool for ministry take shape. Now the end of this phase is in sight. Teachers and students anticipate spacious new classrooms. We are eager for the elbow room we shall have for Oktoberfest. We are dreaming of additional ways to utilize this space to grow Grace and move us toward our vision.

Adding to this excitement will be the filling of the two vacancies on our ministry staff – Director of Music and Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry. As I write this, we have offered the Director of Music position to a wonderfully gifted and experienced musician who has indicated he will accept. I am hopeful that we will also soon be announcing our new Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Together with all of creation we bring God our praise. With who we are and all we are, we live to bring God praise. The birds and animals, fish and people join together in praising God. And in this time we also weep and suffer with all creation as oil spews from the floor of the gulf poisoning the sea creatures, the plants, the birds, the beaches and the livelihood of so many people.
