Mission trip to the Dominican Republic May 23rd - May 30th, 2009 Thank you for your support of our mission team.
The DR trip changes the lives of those go in so many ways. The areas they are involved include Vacation Bible School, Games, Medical, and Building. If you are not able to join us, we could really use your help with
preparation for the trip.
 Buy a MileIt is approx. 1,300 miles from Hendersonville to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It costs
$1,300 for each missionary from Grace Lutheran to
go on the mission trip. 1,300 miles=$1,300 dollars
Please buy a mile and watch the airplane on the
banner in the church foyer travel to $13,000!

Have spare change? Just drop it in the DR plastic container on the table in the foyer. Every little bit helps!
Please donate the following items
Animal Crackers- Large bags or plastic containers (sample provided) and place them in the basket in the Church Foyer:Multi-colored Sharpies, Wipes, Quart and Sandwich Bags, Toothbrushes and toothpaste Little Mirrors from the Wal-Mart Camping area (Sample provided) New Flip-Flops (adult and children), Vitamins-prenatal, children, and adult Spanish Bibles , Kitchen Towels, Pastel or colored towels and wash clothes  If you are not able to come with us, we could really use your help with preparation for the trip. We are requesting congregational financial support for our trip as we have in the past. Many of our teen-age missionaries and some of our adults do not have the funds necessary to make this trip and rely on the generosity of parishioners. If you cannot make the trip, a financial donation of any amount is a wonderful way to be a part of what we do in the DR. Please contact Beth Ann Lehr ASAP if you are interested in a tax-deductible contribution. We have listed some ways you can help financially below the pictures.
